Lyrics

On the other side of the water
Now that I’ve reached distant shores
Now that I’ve touched new lands I didn’t know before
Now that I’ve found new landing zonesFeels like I’ve wandered alone
Feels like for thousands and thousands miles I roamed
Feels like my steps have all goneHow can I be
Here, free
On the other side of the water?I crossed the ocean one time more
I left the harbor many hundred nights ago
Not sure I knew what I was looking for, looking forDo you know how I feel
To be, free
On the other side of the water?
Free, like me
On the other side of the water?

How do you feel
To be with me?
Do you know what I mean
Free, like me
On the other side of the water?

Blues in my mind

I’ve got these blues in my mind
I’ve got the blues every time
That I’m talking to you
And I can’t tell you the truth
I can’t look in your eyes
I know I won’t sleep all night
Cause I’ve got these blues in my mind

I’ve got these blues every day
Just because I can’t say
All the right words to you
When you wanna know the truth
And when you look in my eyes
And I’ll dream of you all the night
With my sweet blues in my mind
But if I look through your eyes, yes, I know
And I may roam through my mind, through my world
But I am coming back to you
Come and telling you the truth
Cause I’ve got these blues in my mind
I’ve got these blues in my heart
Since we fell apart
All the times I talked to you
And I could not tell you the truth
I can’t think of your eyes
I know I won’t sleep all night
Cause of these, these blues in my mind
But if I look through your eyes, yes, I know
And I may roam through my mind, through my world
I end up am coming back to you
Come and telling you the truth
Cause I’ve got these blues in my mind
I end up am coming back to you
Come and telling you the truth
Cause I’ve got these blues in my mind

Daffodils
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the Milky Way,
They stretched in a never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in a sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
And I gazed, and I gazed, but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
Don’t wait
Don’t wait, oh no, don’t say: “no more”
Maybe just stay, stay a little more with me
Don’t wait anymore to set you freeBaby don’t wait no more, don’t say: “I don’t”
Baby no way! No way away from me!
Don’t wait for anyone else except for meI won’t wait so long, you say “I know”
Baby don’t play, don’t play the game with me!
Don’t wait too long, don’t say you won’t
Baby come play, come and play with meBaby don’t wait alone, don’t say I won’t
Baby don’t hate, but love the way you feel
Must be the way you long, you long for meI won’t wait so long you say “I know”
Baby don’t play, don’t play the game with me!
Don’t wait too long, don’t say you won’t
Baby come play, come and play with me

No, don’t wait alone, don’t say: “I won’t”
Baby no way! No way away from me!
Don’t wait for anyone else except for me

Broken Heart Blues
I got a broken heart
I got the “broken heart blues”
I can stay or I can move now
I got nothing to lose
Shall I go or shall I stay?
I don’t know which way
I’ve got a broken heart
I’ve got these “broken heart blues”
Should I stay or should I move?
I cannot choose
Will I stay or will I leave?
I got nothing more to give
But there’s one thing I can do
I can still play the blues
Love come and break these chains
Love come and ease my pain
I’ve got a broken heart
I got these “broken heart blues”
I’m still awake I know I should rest
I wanna wish you all my best!
Am I right, am I wrong now?
I’m just playing this song
But there’s one thing I can do
I can still play the blues
Love come and break these chains
Love come and ease my pain
Love come and shake my brain
Love come and ease my pain

May water fall
The darkest night
Is when the sky is on fire
When the blood flows on the streets
The ground gets drier
When drumbeats become shooting
And all the music disappears
Laughs become screams
And love becomes fear
May water fall
On our skin
To wash us all
To wash our sins
When you’ve touched the ground
You won’t forget that sound
All that emptiness around
And the friends that can’t be found
May water fall
On our faces
To wash us all
All the human race
May water fall
On our skin
To wash us all
To wash our sins
To wash the world
For a new beginning
May water fall

Minor and Major Change

When I sing the blues
Allow me a little change
When I sing the bluesStepping into your room
Give me a little range
So that I can moveWhen I play my blues
Expect some minor change
You know they’re coming soonWhen I am in that mood
I’ve got to rearrange
What I am telling you
When you don’t expect
You’ll find some major change
Out of the blue
Stepping into your room
Something old to exchange
Something old will bruise
When I play the blues
Allow me a little change
When I sing my blues
Moving down
Moving down that’s what I’ve found
Only a few steps: that’s the sound
Getting down, do you follow me?
Take a try, you won’t believe
Moving down, take my hand
There’s no need to understand
Rolling down, far below
How far? I don’t know
Moving down, come with me
Stepping down, that’s good you see
Just one finger at the time
Chasing words to find the rhyme
Moving down, there’s no end
There’s no reason to pretend
Walking down on our way
Which one? I can’t say
Moving down, come with me
Stepping down, that’s good to me
Just one finger at the time
Stretching words to fit the rhyme
Moving down to the ground
Going somewhere, nowhere bound
Sliding down, can’t you see?
Take a look, it’s only me

Like I never did

Last night I had a strange dream
I was sitting alone In a dark and silent empty room
There was an open door in front of me
Outside the sky was grey And the rain was falling down like a river
And suddenly you came out of the pouring rain
A ray of light through the shadows You came into sight
Looking right in my eyes With nothing else but your smile
You were walking towards me Like you never did
Then you took my hand Trying to lift me up
Just to see if I could stand alone As I’ve never done
And suddenly All the clouds disappeared
We started to run Among meadows and fields
And it seemed we could fly Over mountains and oceans
Over rivers and hills Like we never did before
And we ran hand in hand We were climbing so high
And I fell so bold and strong As I’ve never done
And suddenly All my clouds disappeared
And we kept running Among meadows and fields
And I believed we could fly Over mountains and oceans
Over rivers and hills Like we never did before
Last night I had a strange dream
I was standing alone
Like I never did
I’ve got the blues for Christmas
I’ve got the blues for Christmas
There’s nothing I can do
I’ve got them for you babe
I’ve got those blues for you
I play my blues for Christmas
Cause I feel like I am trapped
Within those twelve bars
Trying to escape
I’ve got the blues this Christmas
Cause I ain’t got you
I’ve got the blues for Christmas
As I am walking down the street
No matter who’s around me
No matter who I’m with
I feel the blues for Christmas
Don’t you see that I’m stuck
Inside these twelve bars
Trying to escape?
I’ve got the blues for Christmas
Cause I ain’t got you
And now that I am here
Just thinking of you
Everything around
Reminds me of you
The music, the lights
And my blues for Christmas
